Monuments, exciting places and the whole atmosphere of the city of Krakow will bewitch every tourist. Such plenty of attractions makes a single stay in the city too short to see them all, not to mention all the must-sees of the region. Thus, our offer is tailored to those who would like to visit the Wieliczka Salt Mine and the Auschwitz Concentration Camp in one day during their short visit in Krakow.

About the tour:
The comfort tour can be organized upon the client’s request on a daily basis and includes a tour in English of the Wieliczka Salt Mine as well as the self-guided tour of the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum. You need to book it 5 days before the trip date at the latest. Departure from Krakow and the order of the visited places depend on the availability of the Auschwitz-Birkenau entry tickets and the time of the tour in the Salt Mine. The driver picks up the participants of the tour from their hotel in the Krakow area and takes them to the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum. On the site the clients receive guidebooks and visit the former concentration camp on their own without the local guide. In the morning and afternoon the Museum is not as crowded as in peak hours, what allows visitors to get to know the site more privately. The duration of the visit can be freely agreed on with the driver but should last no longer than 4 hr. After the tour the participants have a short break to rest and then are taken to Wieliczka. The journey takes about 1,15 hr. On the site the driver distributes the tickets, the headsets and attaches the clients to the tour in English organized by the mine. Exploring the mine takes about 3 hr. After the tour they return to Krakow at the designated address. The entire trip takes about  11 hr.

Before you book a comfort tour, please send to office@transkrakow.pl a request with the preferred language, date, time and the number of participants. We will check the availability of guides in the Salt Mine and entry passes to the Auschwitz Museum and then will send you an offer with the possible hours. After accepting the offer you can reserve the tour and pay for it on our website. For more information about booking, providing and cancelling tours, please read Terms of Use.
